The match is learned in 30 seconds; this guide makes you better in 5 minutes.
In Toy Soccer Cup you don't move players with a joystick: you flick them, just like tabletop football of old. The gesture has four steps:
You don't need to pull back right behind the figure. Tap your player (it stays selected, with its ring visible) and then drag from any free area of the screen: the shot comes out the same. It's the comfy way to shoot when your figure is stuck against the sideline… and the PRO way to play on mobile without your finger covering the pitch.
The ring around your figure changes colour with the power: green (soft), yellow (medium) and red (full). Regretting the shot? Bring your finger back towards the figure and it cancels without wasting your turn. And while the ball is rolling, hold your finger on the screen to watch the play at double speed.
You have 15 seconds to aim each turn. It sounds tight and it isn't: it's roughly three times what a good shot needs, and it exists so nobody has to sit watching a rival think. A match lasts 3 minutes of play.
Every one of these rules exists for the same reason: to stop the match turning into bowling. Toy Soccer Cup is played with sportsmanship, and the referee doesn't miss a thing:
Playing leagues and challenges unlocks perks you equip before the match: the Cannon 💪 turns your next shot into a missile, the Timeout ⏱️ gives you seconds to think, the Freeze 🧊 chills the rival shot, the Precision 🎯 lengthens the billiards guide… In ranked duels each player carries only one perk, shown to the rival from kick-off: here variety wins, not power.
This is the part most players discover late. The five skills you train in your club are not decorative numbers on a card: Attack puts real force behind the flick, Defense widens the ground your figures cover, Goalkeeping extends your keeper's reach, and Aim tightens the dispersion so the ball goes where you pointed. A trained team feels different in your hand — and in the Weekly Cup, where you face teams other people have trained, the difference is the match.
