Cookies and similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage) are small pieces of data a website keeps on your device. This page lists exactly which ones Toy Soccer Cup uses, and how you can control them.
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Local save storage for the current game and, for older versions, toy-soccer-cup:v1 and tsc.*. | Local saves include squad, qualities, development, School records and saved plays. The Club document can synchronise with the account when the service is available. Device comfort preferences stay local. Check linking and synchronisation before deleting data. | Until you clear the site's data or delete your account |
tsc_id cookie and tsc-id browser database | A backup copy of your account key, so that clearing only part of your browser data doesn't lose your account | 10 years, or until you clear the site's data or delete your account |
tsc_lang cookie | Remember your language | 1 year |
| Consent choice (Google consent platform) | Remember what you chose about advertising and analytics | Up to 13 months |
Without these, the game can't remember your progress or your account. They contain no name or contact details.
On the website and in the browser version we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see in aggregate how people find and use the site. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_… with a random identifier, which last up to 2 years. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they are only set if you accept them. You can also block them with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The game's own statistics, described in the privacy policy, use no cookies: they travel with your account to our server.
Ads on the website and in the browser version are served by Google (AdSense, Ad Manager and H5 Games Ads), which may use cookies such as __gads or __gpi (up to 13 months) to limit how often you see an ad, measure it and, only if you accept, personalise it. If you reject personalised advertising, the ads you see are not based on you.
The current home page does not load the old trailer. Historical blog videos keep their behaviour: YouTube loads only when you choose to play them.
The apps don't use browser cookies for advertising. They keep your saved game and account key in the app's own storage, and they use the device's advertising identifier only under the conditions explained in the privacy policy.
What data we handle and on what legal basis is explained in the privacy policy. Questions: toysoccercup@gmail.com.
